It's well made and attractive. Please see pictures. The outside is windbreaker-verging-on-raincoat smooth and the inside is soft. Note that it is quite light and warm and waterproof (at least on the outside) but not terribly thick. Unless you are wearing something underneath it I would call it a fall or spring jacket. The hood is, for once, decently sized. Most of my hoodies seem to believe that if you don't have a medieval monk's "bring out your dead" cowl that blocks out 90% of your vision you aren't getting your money's worth. This has an actual hood that drawstrings around an actual head. Mind, the drawstring is stiff, so that's a grrr, but it works and you can still see.
There are two exterior pockets (and a tiny "hidden" one, but no interior ones, so lose a few points there, but the zippers work fine, so gain some back. And it zips tightly.

This review is for "MAELREG Mens Fleece Softshell Jacket Lightweight Insulated Water Resistant Windbreaker Hooded Winter Jacket for Golf Casual" in Grey
First, I would not call the lining of this jacket "fleece." Fleece brings to mind something slightly fluffy, maybe 3-4mm thick, the inside of a soft sweatshirt. The lining of this jacket is more like microsuede - soft, but quite thin. The photo also shows a fluffy, textured fleece, which is not what the inside of this jacket actually looks like. I tried to get more accurate photos of the lining and how thin the material is. Because of this, the jacket is NOT as warm as you'd expect from something fleece-lined.
That said, it's otherwise quite nice, feels very sturdy and well-made and fits my son well. If you're looking for something more like a windbreaker or to wear in light rain, it should be fine. However, I would not pay $60 for it.
The hoodie arrived packed nicely in a box and plastic bag, folded like a shirt with paper inside - presentation makes a difference and this shows that you don't need extravagant packaging to make a good first impression.
The material feels pleasant although it has an almost oilcloth like feeling to it (it is 100% polyester, so it isn't oilcloth) and water beads on it. I haven't tried it in the rain, but I accept the claim that it is water resistant. There is one deep zippered pocket on either side and another, almost hidden, pocket on the right side, not quite large enough for a modern cellphone, but large enough for a man's wallet. All of the zippers work smoothly although they aren't YKK. The front reflective stripes aren't annoyingly gaudy and fit into the overall design. The manufacturer could have incorporated a reflective seam on the back - perhaps where the hoodie meets the jacket.
